N.EST STRAORDINARIO è ciò che ci sconvolge per la sua natura poco comune. Ma se priviamo di "STRA" la suddetta parola, non ci resta altro che un'ORDINARIETA'? Quello che ci è mostrato è decretato straordinario perché non comune dinanzi i nostri occhi, ma nel vederlo ripetutamente non viviamo una quotidianità, un'ordinarietà? E allora ciò che convive nell'ordinarietà può essere una visione Stra-Ordinaria con cui guardare la realtà. Da questo punto nasce l'idea di passeggiare a N.EST. Una passeggiata che attraverso un obiettivo (fotografico e filmico) riporti la realtà dell'ordinarietà, senza filtrarla per renderla STRAORDINARIA. Rivalutando così il pensiero di ciò che è vissuto quotidianamente per le strade di Napoli Est. Una passeggiata, sulla melodia di "Com'è bello passeggia per Nest" accompagnerà questa visione silenziosa in cui la voglia è quella di raccontare piuttosto che sconvolgere ordinariamente.

Queste immagini rappresentano la cruda realtà di un quartiere della periferia orientale di Napoli, ovvero San Giovanni a Teduccio. Un tempo tale area rendeva il quartiere un polo storico della classe operaia ma con il diffondersi della criminalità ha subito negli anni un totale degrado divenendo uno dei quartieri di Napoli con il più alto tasso di disoccupazione.

During the month of May 2008, a community of ROM people that were settled in the eastern suburb of the city of Naples, have been literally "kicked away" from the camps there were living in. The reason why this happened does not really matter, what is incredibile is that the people that sent away the ROM were the citizens of eastern Naples, not the state. These people have been abandoned and isolated and this has created the base for a war among the "poorest". Another kick to civilization. a work by Francesco Pischetola photographer

".....My innocent drawing of baroque patterns – a gift to the city, to N.EST, to its homeless people and passers-by rushing in and out of the station – stands as a monument to the fallen of that modernity. A new, small satori for times being. Starting from those rusty shutters, it creates -almost by force – a new hunting ground, new waters to fish. A large and silent owl climbs up at the edge of delirium – the former industrial zone of Italy’s third largest major city – and claims the right to be cured; the right to a brilliance shared by spirituality and the murky waters of Vigliena alike."

Ci sono luoghi alla deriva nel tempo come ci sono scarpe alla deriva nel mare Identità perdute da immaginare vive prima che il tempo e il mare le rendessero straniere... Un’antologia di spoon river di entità che sono state altro da quello che sono. Il progetto è un Documentario un Sito/Adozione, una Installazione: esplora luoghi dove l’antropizzazione è passata come un cataclisma improvviso e passeggero, cancellando per paradosso la presenza umana. Il mare è l’incubatore di queste identità che vengono da lontano nel tempo e nello spazio in attesa di essere ri-accolte. La scarpa è un soggetto-pretesto, perchè è il più potente dei catalizzatori di identità: è questi luoghi, fossili troppo vivi e troppo morti. Immaginare un’identità è un modo per fermarsi qui e ora. Ogni “raccolta” scarpe è un documentario che racconta i luoghi, ogni volta diversi, e la situazione del “ritrovamento. Come cenerentola che ri-trovando la scarpa trova se stessa.
